No, it doesn't cost anything to take a tour.
Appointments aren’t required, but scheduling an appointment is preferred, as it helps us give you the best tour experience.
Our office is easily accessible, with parking available on either side of our office building including handicap accessible parking and entrances.
To apply, visit www.bishopsgateapts.com or feel free to request a paper application from the leasing office.
Applications are typically processed within 1-2 business days, depending on the approval outcome. The timeline may also vary based on how quickly the applicant completes the income verification.
When signing your lease, there’s a $50 application fee per adult (over 18), or just one application fee if you’re married. You’ll also have a $300 hold fee/deposit with approved credit, and the deposit may be up to one month’s rent.
If you do not have rental history you may be required to pay a higher deposit or require a co-signer.
Rent is paid online only.
To pay your rent online, log in to the Bishop’s Gate website, click on the resident login, and follow the prompts to submit your payment.
Water, sewer, gas, and electric are billed to you each month.
Yes, renter’s insurance is required. You can pick any company you like, or we offer an affordable insurance company as an option for you.
Trash service is included in your rent.
Water and sewer are billed monthly, and our office staff will handle that set up for you. For gas and electric, you’ll just need to contact Duke Energy to set up your account in your name.
We recommend AltaFiber but you may use any provider of your choice.
If your friend lives here and refers you, they would receive a $250 credit off of their rent once you move in.
2 guests per resident is permitted for amenities (pool & fitness center). Guests must be accompanied by resident and guests cannot use the amenities on their own.
At this time, we don’t offer price reductions for longer leases or pre-paying rent.
No, your security deposit will not transfer to the new community and you will need to pay them a new security deposit.
No, subletting isn’t allowed.
Lease buyout policy: 60 day notice required on the 1st of any month and along with a two month early termination fee.
No, we don’t offer short-term leases at this time.

Amenities
Our community offers a large pool, tennis and pickleball courts, a 24-hour fitness center, and our clubhouse is available to rent (additional fee applies - contact us to learn more).
The pool is open from 10am-Dusk during summer months.
Yes. We have an all open parking lot and there are no fees for parking. We allow 2 vehicles per apartment.
Yes, we have washer and dryer hookups
Each apartment comes standard with a refrigerator with ice maker, range, microwave, and dishwasher.
No, we don’t offer furnished apartments.
Yes, we can hold packages sent directly to our leasing office for up to 3 days. After that, they’ll be returned to the sender, so be sure to pick them up in time.
Our fitness center is open 24/7.
Our fitness center features treadmills, ellipticals, stationary bikes, free weights, and weight machines.
Quiet hours are from 10pm-7am. No fees for communal spaces.
Pet Policy
Yes, our community is pet-friendly.
Pet Fees include $35/month pet rent (per pet) and $300 pet deposit ($150 refundable, $150 non-refundable pet fee)
Yes, we have a 50 lb. weight limit and a list of breed restrictions.
We don’t have an on-site pet park, but our community is surrounded by a beautiful park and plenty of green space for your pets to enjoy.

Our community is part of the Princeton Local Schools district.
No There aren’t bike trails immediately nearby, but the area is great for biking around local streets and neighborhoods.
Residents have plenty of shopping options nearby, including Whole Foods, Kroger, Fresh Thyme, Target, and Costco.
The nearest coffee spots are Starbucks and 7Brew, both less than a mile from the community.
Maintenance
Before you move in, we’ll make sure your apartment is move-in ready by painting, cleaning, and completing any necessary repairs.
Yes. Our on-site maintenance team is available Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and we also offer 24-hour emergency maintenance for any urgent issues.
You can submit a maintenance request through the resident portal
After submitting a maintenance request, maintenance will respond in the order received, however emergencies do take precedence.
No, as long as you give us permission to enter maintenance can enter your apartment when you are not home. This allows for faster service. However, if there is an emergency we can enter at any time without your permission.
If you are locked out during regular business hours, call the office and we will let you in. If you are locked out after hours we are not permitted to respond to lockouts for any reason per company policy and you will have to call a locksmith at your own expense.
This is your home, and you can decorate it however you like! You are not permitted to modify anything attached to the apartment such as: appliances, cabinets, countertops, flooring etc. All modifications must be requested in writing. Your apartment must be returned to us in the exact way you received it.
